This bespoke baby girl’s nursery was designed to create a calm, soft, and timeless environment, combining practical storage, elegant detailing, and adaptability for the years ahead. The installation transforms the room into a soothing yet highly functional space, perfectly tailored for a newborn while remaining stylish and enduring for the home.

The fitted joinery was crafted from high-quality oak veneer, finished in Osmo oil to highlight the natural grain and bring warmth and texture to the interiors. Shaker-style doors with inlay wallpaper inserts introduce subtle pattern and softness, while the external cabinetry is painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Tailor Tack,’ offering a gentle, complementary contrast. Full-height wardrobes, drawer storage, and a central open shelving feature provide generous, organised storage, ensuring the room remains practical as the child grows.

A custom-designed nursery cot was manufactured in-house to harmonise with the cabinetry. Solid oak spindles and painted MDF panels finished in Farrow & Ball ‘Wimborne White’ create a clean, classic aesthetic, blending seamlessly with the surrounding furniture.

Integrated warm white LED lighting has been incorporated into the shelving and wardrobe interiors. Sensor-activated, the lighting provides soft illumination for night feeds or quiet activities, enhancing practicality without disrupting the calm atmosphere of the room.

Every element of this nursery was carefully considered, from materials and finishes to lighting and storage, resulting in a cohesive, beautifully balanced space. The design delivers a comforting environment for now while remaining adaptable for the child’s evolving needs, creating a nursery that is both functional and timeless.
